Thanks to Jack once again with the Clue Joe laminates from Friday we were able to gain early entry for the Saturday gig.
Raven, Iman and I and friends were front and centre once again.
The crowd may have been half the capacity of Friday, but it seemed to be twice as loud.
The support band Vanishing Point were great, although us at the front did have a chuckle to watch the lead singer constantly refer to his lyrics sheet.
Joe was once again amazing, this guy runs around as if he is twenty years old.
Stu's solo appeared to be longer Saturday, but again the show was perfect.
Thankyou to the entire band for putting up with the camera going off every few seconds. We all got some really great shots.
One of the funniest things we saw was on Friday when we were herded in like cattle to the foyer of the venue, Club Joe to one side everyone else on the other. Joe's guitar tech walked through tried to get inside showed his laminate and the security promptly told to line up with us. It was a lot funnier and the time :)
Something I have realized is just like Steve Vai so many people have no idea who Joe Satriani is, but when you are at the gig. You meet like minded people who love to sit through (or stand) two hours plus of mostly instrumental guitar.
We met Paul who from Adelaide had been to that show and now his mum had brought him to the two Melbourne gigs. (Contender for Mother of the Year!)
The saddest part of the show was realizing we would not see Joe again for a really long time. Please come back soon, we miss you already :)
Thanks to Joe, Jeff, Galan, Stu, Mick, Jack and everyone who helped bring Joe back to our great country. Cheers Julie

Amazing!!!!! Front row and in front of Joe's pedals on both Friday and Saturday nights....can't get better than that! The night was a mix of old and new, every track was played to perfection and then some. Hard to pick a favourate but I'm going to go with Cool #9 ... the whole place was rocking to the groove and cheering every time Joe changed tempo.
You just do not know how good Joe is until you actually see him live. If you haven't got a ticket for an upcoming show ..... get one!
Joe, please, please get to Melbourne again.
