Probably the best live performance I have ever seen. The sound was great and the song list was perfect. Nice long set. (never really long enough, but hey Joe can't play all night) The mini G3 at the end of the night was just amazing. Thanks Joe. looking forward to the next time.

AWSOME! This show was'COLOSSAL'.After playing the previous five nights in a row, SMOKIN' Joe and his band just let it fly. Wow! I like Eric Johnson's music but the overall sound was pretty muddy.Still, He played very well. I've seen Joe about 15 times now and this show ranks up there with the best! The song set was good and even though He didn't play everything I wanted to hear, He sounded so clean (as usual) and I'm sure no one left disappointed.Just like always, when you think the band might be starting to wind down a little, they are just getting warmed up! Joe had a small problem with one of his pedals,He even joked a bit about it but there is no stopping this SHREDMASTER. He always seems to enjoy playing to his audience and this night was no different. I especially enjoyed the extended version of Always with me always with you. Joe and his band gave it their all and played their hearts out. A cameo appearence by Steve Vai was pretty cool also. All three guitarists played blistering versions of 'Goin' down'
and 'Red House'. Definetly a show to remember! I had back stage passes but I couldn't wait over an hour and a half just to say a quick Hi. I did get to tell Jeff what a great show they put on .(He just makes it look so effortless when he beats those skins.I just could'nt even Imagine Joe playing without Jeff. He IS The bands backbone! Having met Joe a couple of tours ago(what a humble and gracious person He is and always good to his fans), I left the Wiltern a little disappointed not being able to stay and see him again , I still left the Wiltern Theatre thinking about what an awsome show I had just witnessed. Anyone who has not seen Joe Satriani live has not seen a truly superior guitar virtuoso. Thanks Joe and the band for yet another awsome display of musicianship and a Great new album to listen to. Until next time, keep on shreddin'.

This was the best concert I've ever attended!! I've seen Joe play live 5 times before, but I have to say this was the best performance I've seen! The band was absolutely in top form. Joe's tone really projected and you could hear all the nuances in his playing. The energy level of the show was just amazing. Highlights for me were "Satch Boogie", "Always with Me, Always with You", "A Cool New Way" and "Cool #9". The songs off the new record also sounded really awesome live. Eric Johnson's band also put on a great show but I have to say that his act was just not as exciting performance-wise. To be fair, he was the opening act getting the crowd warmed up. I loved his set though, he even played my favourite EJ song "SRV"! Of course, the greatest highlight of the show was Steve Vai showing up at the end and jamming with Joe and Eric. I first became a fan of Joe after watching the original G3 Live DVD, so to see all three of them onstage together was unbelievable. Although I must say I had difficulty hearing Eric's guitar; furthermore he didn't seem to take it over the top like Joe and Steve did. Still, it was an amazing end to an amazing concert.

I've never seen Joe play before and only have two of his albums. My wife and I were exhausted after watching him play! What a great performance! I really enjoyed the show. Getting to see both Eric Johnson and Joe the same night was great too. The closer with Steve Vai was a nice finish. I still haven't gotten used to living so close to LA and that such things can happen easily. I love the grooves that Jeff puts down, a perfect fit for each piece, no need for overplaying or competing with Joe. Beautiful! One little nag...as an ex-lighting roadie the lighting was pretty anemic when compared with the energy of Joe's music. I realize for the fans that love his stuff lighting is the least of their concern perhaps but I just know that lighting can tie it all together in a very subtle subconscious way and leave you with goosebumps. I'm glad we attended the show and look forward to another chance to see them play.

Joe is still the absolute guitar perfectionist. #1 period.
Everything was in tune, they absolutely rocked the roof off.
Jeff is the drummer from another planet, he ripped the skins with every tune!
In addition the Platinum package is worth every cent.
Thanks for the night Joe.
Also, thanks for signing everything and taking time to interact with your fan base.
See ya guys on the next tour.

Oh man! Thank you Satch for putting on a totally freaking awesome show! Starting offf Eric Johnson totally rocked, I'm not too familiar with his stuff so I was definitely impressed. Then Satch played every song I hoped he would play, with a lot of excellent jams thrown in. I'm absolutely awestruck as to how the guitar has become just another appendage on Joes body, he plays it so fluidly and naturally and this is totally amzingly apparent during live shows llike this one. Then, when I thought I couldn't get any more excited, duing the encore after Summer song some roadies roll out EJ's amp and I thought YES ANOTHER SWEET JAM! and then out rolls a carvin legacy and out come EJ and mr. Steve Vai! They totally rocked it! I'm SO glad I had the privelege to attend such an incredibly awesome show.
Thanks Satch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
