First congratulations Joe for another great album. His appearance on Saturday was well worth the 3 1/2 hour trip from Albany NY for me. I have seen him live 8 times but this was the first time to have met him. He played for about 35 minutes covering both classic songs and songs off the new cd. Getting a chance to meet him afterwards was awesome, though quick. You could get two things signed, for me his new cd and Surfing with the alien vinyl album cover which hangs proudly in my music room. Getting my picture with Joe was cool, its not often you get to see him without his sunglasses on. I was only able to ask one question but that was ok. Joe is the consummate professional. It was a great day meeting fellow JS fans and seeing, hearing and meeting the greatest guitar player. I hope to see him do promotions like this in the future. Thanks Joe and Looney Tunes.

What can I say? I,ve seen Joe many times but this time was defitnitly genuine. It was worth the long line and the sunburn on my neck due to the strong sun. How can a man be so smooth and so calm and then shred like that? It was excellent. When the CD skipped Joe found right away where the song was and that was so cool because it made me realize that here's a man that plays all over the world at big venue's with sometimes other great guitarist's and he chose to come to this little record store to play a promotional preformance and meet every single fan that was there. Joe was such a nice and down to earth person and even though many people have said the same thing it still was amazing to see that he's really like that. It was something I'll never forget and I hope he will do this again in the future. Thanks Joe.

Joe...you are the man!!!!!!!!!!!! And the greatest guitarist that has walked this earth!!!!!!!!!!! I got down to Looney Tunes and was not able to get in for the performance, but I was able to hear the entire thing and it rocked. Then afterwards I was one of the first to get in for autographs and pictures. Satch signed my 1984 EP released on Rubina Records...absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to meet up with Joe again on tour. Good luck with all the upcoming shows, your new album rocks man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. I bought my first Satriani album in December (strange beautiful music), and my brother and I both absolutely fell in love with it. I've become a die hard satriani fan since then and i've even gotten my girlfriend into it too. Anyway, we both went to see the show, and it was so much more than i expected. I have to give credit to the fact that Joe plays incredble live, which not many other artists can do. And not only did i finally get to actually see joe play (from the back of the place, but nonetheless, still awesome), but i also got to meet him. I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to go to a similar autograph signing event. The wait is a little long, but it is sooo worth it. Joe, i don't know how you do it, seeing all these different people within the span of about three hours, and being a welcoming and a great guy to every one of them. i couldn't stop smiling when i left the store for about an hour. See you in london at G3, can't wait! Joe Rocks my world!

Joe was so nasty.... I waited 2 hours in line for the show, 12th in line, had a really good view and took so many pics. and video clips... If you saw a guy wearing a PRS shirt, that was me... Joe is was so relaxed up there and wore those slick shades, def. gotta get some like that. "summer song" was so nasty... my fav song. It sucked the first people in the front row to see him perform were last in line for autographs. I only got to talk with him for about a min. the "event staff" guy was there making sure i only had 2 items for him to sign and he got in the way of the damn picture. But other than that, ill be tracking him down to see him do stuff like this again. Unbelievable... Joe man, you shred that thing like its nothing, way to go man, you kicked so much ass
