MY FIRST CONCERT EVER!! JOE MADE IT MEMROABLE... SAW HIM A FEW WEEKS LATER IN TUCSON.. but Joe played Always with Mem Always with You too fast... I like it better at the Tempo played on the San Fran DVD and the album...

I regret to finally post my attendance and review nearly three months after the show but i have just now gotten around to it. It was my first Joe concert, and I think i was more astounded to just actually be there than anything else. When joe was up there at the very beginning of flyin' i almost crapped myself. The music was just phenominal, especially jeff. I loved that Joe played time machine. I was hopin for some eoc or eight steps but beggers can't be choosers. I also loved cool no. 9 on your white guitar. NL jam, midnight, oriental melody, it was all good. The sound was great and so was the music. I haven't taken off my strange beautiful tour shirt since. Vegas was a 10.

Finally I'm writing! This is the 3rd Satch gig I've seen in Vegas. The shows keep getting better all the time. Joes new album is a technical masterpiece, gets better each time I listen to it...love the Mountain song. I hope Joe comes through Vegas again soon. Thanks for yet another excellent experience!!!!

Great show, first time I saw JS. Came down from Seattle - schedule conflict. Glad I did, read the reveiws from Seattle show - the sound wasn't too hot, I hear. No problem in LV. The tunes sounded almost exactly as Live in SF - excellent. Glad to hear from the new CD. Also, enjoyed "midnight" (I thought I heard him call it), where JS showed why he is the best I've ever heard. Jeff and Mat are a great rythm section, Galen presence appropriate when necessary. Opening act (7 string fret-less guitar guy) was OK for a couple of songs. Looking forward to seeing JS at next earliest opportunity, which I hope is real soon. At the HOB wouldn't be a bad venue.

This was my second time at a Joe concert. The first time was here at the House of Blues a couple years ago when Joe had Stuart Hamm on bass. That show BLEW me away. I had never seen anyone play the bass like that before. This year Joe had Matt Bissonette not Stu. So I listened to Joes new album to hear how Matt played on it. When i went to the show i knew Matt was not going to be Stu.. and I was nervous... Well, I have to say MATT ROCKED!!! He seemed right on everywhere. He did an awsome Matt Bissonette bass solo, followed by an awsome solo by Jeff. It seemed like Matt was letting Joe run the show. So I say Joe, nice bass player!! And Matt .... YOU ROCK MAN!!!

WOW! My first time seeing Satriani live. He was absolutely incredible. I was a few feet from him all night, and was star struck. A really incredible sound and feel. The band was really tight, and Satch was really on. I saw Matt walk over to Galen and I read his lips, he said "I almost missed that bridge....that close." lol Matt was amazing, and the solo he did with Campitelli was great. Although, I noticed he was having troubles with his looper. Very cool that he had pics of his kids taped to his bass. Matt isnt quite the showman Stu was, but still a great addition to the band. Satch played a lot of great tunes, but he didnt play my favorite song, "Chords of Life" from the new album! lol I'll forgive him in light of his amazing performance. And the opener.....Hey, I thought the guitar was really cool, and the guy could really play it. I enjoyed it, but I wish it were a good 3 minute song, then on with satch, I saw no point in playing that many songs to introduce the new guitar. But I still give him props, and met him after the show....he reminds me of a blonde carrot top :P All in all, a great show....I want to see him in Reno TOO!!! Wooo! lol

I had a chance to get "up close" and watch this guitar "magician" for the first time. I have always loved Joe's music, and being a guitar player myself for the last 25 or so years, I was both inspired and humbled. I do not want to sound repetictous, but this man is incredible. I really enjoyed the show, my wife and I had a table on the floor right by the stage, she wants me to play "summer song". ( I hope she understands it wont quite sound the same). Thank you Joe for a very enjoyable evening.

this was the best i've seen joe play, although a few of the g3 shows were comperable,he was flawless. when he played MIDNITE,I was comletely mesmerised,i think this was the first time i saw him play this live.too bad the bass player lost his way once or twice..maybe STU was unavailible this time around.

A great show with all players completely on. I deducted a point for the acoustics (not Joe's fault) as they were not the best for Joe (especially at the upper levels) but you tended to forget about it due to the sheer strength of the show. Joe really decided to do a pretty fast set with little emphasis on his mellow songs which was cool by me. The opening act was interesting in the fact he seems to have adopted some of the tonal ranges of Satriani (and the fretless guitar was amusing), but this act is for a weekday bar gig - completely out of league for a Satriani show. The fans were polite but there is no need to warm up a Satriani crowd.

Just a quick comment because someone remarked that the chemistry didn't seem right in Seattle. I felt the same way about the Concord show earlier this summer.

Completely different show tonight though, one of the best i've seen, and the groove was massive. I've always been a big Stu fan, but Matt, Jeff, and Joe were on the top of their game tonight. Cool #9 has always been really cool, but the Matt & Joe mojo was definitely working today.

The opening act has to go though.
