Biography

Mike has played guitar and keyboard with Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, a lot of others, and is current touring guitarist for Dethklok. His latest solo album "Scambot 2" is one 17 years in the making. Containing multi-movement epics as well as rocking, lilting and twangy songs, the album continues the epic tale of Scambot and the other humans, animals and deities in his life. Mike is (in his own words) "Freakin' jazzed to be in Joe's band" and, after beginning his collaboration solely on keyboards on "Unstoppable Momentum", he began playing guitar live, and continued on both for the recording of "Shockwave Supernova". He rejoins Joe's live band for the "What Happens Next" / G3 2018 Tour.
