It was sooooooooo cool. My first real Joe concert although it was very short. It was rainy, and my legs were in alot of pain.(We stood the entire day watching bands that were good but without any feeling) It was worth it every minute of it while it lasted. Joe even made us cry while he was doing the tapping piece in Always. His playing showed so much emotion that the goosebumps we were having slowly changed into tears.

The weather was terrible but when Joe played that didn't matter any more! Dream Theatre played after Joe. They could not get me to the level Joe brought me! If you see the best, you don't want anything else anymore.

This was my fourth Joe S. concert I ranked it with a nine. My first concert was from the extremist tour in Bruselles Belgium. I have never seen anything better since that time.

This was the best concert I have seen that year and also the best from Joe.He was playing songs from all his records.I like that.I especially like that he changes his musical direction every album. Some I like more than others but it keeps it exciting to listen to.I give it a 9 because I never give 10.There has to be something to improve.

I saw Joe for the second time and I couldn`t believe it. I was a big fan off Frank Zappa but Joe kickt him from the first place. His new album is so good, especially Clouds race acros... it`s so beautifull I love him!!!!!!!

The “Man of the festival” award definitely goes to mister Joe Satriani. Now I used to be a fan of his work (CD’s “Not of this Earth”, “Surfing with the alien”, “Flying in a blue dream” and “The extremist”) but somehow Joe lost track. Therefore I had no expectations of this show whatsoever. Well….one. I figured it was going to be one of endless solo’s, fiddling around and enormous ego caressing, just like on his last Bospop appearance. WRONG!!! Here comes Satriani, a grin on his face and Silver Boy in his hands, knowing that he is gonna kick major ass. I am officially a fan again! This gig was one of the best I ever saw (and I don’t mean just Satriani shows). The songs were played compact, with no unnecessary additions and mainly from all my (and everyones, I guess) favorite CD’s. Simple (if you can call that guitar abuse simple, that is), to the point and no bullshit. Among “Satch boogie”, “Cool #9”, “Surfing with the alien”, “Big bad moon” and one of my all-time fav’s “Always with you, always with me” were only two new songs, one of them being “Borgsex” from his current album “Engines of creation”. “Always” brought goose bumps to my arms and tears to my eyes. So intensely beautiful! One of my friends who was standing beside looked at me after the last chord and said: “I need to sit down”. And I can’t even begin to tell you how much I was impressed. I guess there’s just one word and that’s not even a word: WOW.

well, what can I add to what's already been said here... great sound, great performance! WOW. Too bad it was so short (about 80 minutes)... Hoping for a "full" concert next time around in Holland. Apart from that, it was a fantastic evening. Stu, Eric, Jeff and Joe: many many thanx!!!

We arrived at Bospop at a very early time, because we forgot to look at the time list to see what time Joe was going to play his gig. I saw a great band named Spock's Beard, I never heard of those guys before. That was the best thing I saw till 21.00 hours. Joe gave a hell of a performance. My brother never saw Joe live before, but he said it was the best thing he ever saw before. The new songs were fantastic and as usual the 'old' songs were better than ever. Hope Joe comes to Holland soon to play another great show as he did on that rainy day on sunday 9 july 2000 at Bospop.

I give it a ten, because it really was his best show, and i've learned a lot of his technics. I can use it now by playing in the studio for a rapper or something he want me to play some samples. thank you joe! I thought dreamtheater was good, but after the no mistakes-show of Joe, I saw dreamtheater sucked a lot, sorry petrucci! it was really a cool show. for the people who went there, I was that guy with glasses and a blue poncho, with my "throw-away-camara" that thought I was making some prof. pics!!! har har Joe, keep on the good job ( my inspirator and indirect guitarteacher) ;-) guitarbrother

This was the first time i saw Joe live, and i was truly blown away. the sound was great, the band was excellent, and he played lot's of my favorite songs. the engines of creation stuff is really impressive live! on the downside, the show was a tad short (80 minutes) while he is used to playing 3 hours! hence the ranking.

I was also the very lucky one to have aftershow passes!, so me and a friend(see below) went to meet him after the show. din't get to talk to him much tough, he was in quite a hurry. But i will never forget it.

Really hope to see Joe again in a club nearby! he really rules you know!

Wow!! This was my first time I saw Joe and the band live. What can I say? Incredible! They are so goooood! Joe is as good live as on his cds, maybe even better.

I also was very very lucky that my friend won the aftershow passes and we got to meet Joe and the band! That was really cool, we got some autographs and took some pictures. They're great guys.

I gave this show a 9 because I missed the bass-solo from Stu. =) CYA!

the artist i was waiting for.... a great gig..i didn't know how the new songs would be played live, but they were better than on the cd. Stu was very creative with his bass playing and Satriani played superbe. I was excited that he played songs from all his cd's and turned parts of them into a jam. the interaction with the crowd was ok. thanks Joe for giving us the time of our live...the only comment i have is that it was to short...but that happens at festivals.
