Absolutely incredible!!! Saw the first G3 tour and was coninced it was the best show ever until I saw the St. Patricks day show at The Trees front row...Again that was it for me. Then this show!!!WOW!!! The best yet!!! Even though I wasn't as close the performance was flawless and energy packed!!! The venue was very intimate and a three hour performance was very satisfying!!! Looking forward to the Fort Worth G3 show on 7-5-01. It's at one of the finest music halls in the United States. I'm sure it will live up to the past shows!!!

I don't think security ever caught the bozo who messed with the rig. And I could be wrong, but I think Joe thought the girl running out onstage was pretty funny - pretty sure I saw a grin. If he'd missed a beat, though, we would have all been pretty ticked with her (as if, right?) I wanted to say, though, that Stu's solo blew my mind!!! I went to the concert knowing to expect a beyond-amazing performance from Joe, but Stu! My God!!! When have I ever seen a bass player play like THAT??? I'm going to have to find out more about him, now that I know... Like, what's his background, where'd he meet Joe, etc. etc. A jaw-dropping experience all-around. A couple of aggressive jerks in the audience, though. Don't know why I expected better from Satch fans, but I did...

Mr Satriani I'd like to thank you for the blissful happiness i felt at the show and to Mr Brogdon for making it so special for us. We very much look forward to the Show at Myrtle Beach. Thanks to you and the band {and Mick} for totally taking my head off. The Show was way better than I thought it was going to be and I knew it was going it to be good. I have to say and I know this sounds weird but it was borderline spirtual for me and as I come back home to my Guitars I feel so Inspired. Words escape me now and all I wanna do is play my guitar.

Thanks so much Sincerely and Respectfully, David Levin {and my wifey Laura, who isn't home from work yet}

The show was excellent!!!! Everyone around me was thrilled, dazzled, & amazed with the wizardry of Joe's talents!!! However, one must also give alot of credit to the other members of the band who also helped pull off the success of the show. The general consensus of the people around me was that all were very pleased with the selections of the songs that we heard. Every tune was a favorite & if not a favorite at the time it is most certainly now!! It was an outstanding show & looking foward to treating a couple of friends to Joe's May show in Anaheim. Thanks Joe!! You're the best!! Val

Id like to say this was a good show but I wasnt allowed in. I got the tickets as a gift because me boss at work knows I'm such a huge fan, but little did I know that it was a 21 and over. I don't even drink and don't get me started on why alcohol shouldn't be allowed at shows. So I went home and put on my own Joe concert by playing all his cd's, but it wasnt the same. Maybe next time

This was the second night in a row that I saw Joe, and once again he showed why he is the master. He seemed a bit frustrated during much of the first half, kept looking offstage to his tech to turn up his monitors or something. While a lesser player would have been rattled by this, Joe made the necessary adjustments and was still able to get those beautiful harmonics despite the problems. He also mentioned (after having to switch guitars because of a loose screw in the whammy bar) something about recording, so I'm guessing that equipment troubles plus extra nerves from recording may have caused Joe to have an "off" night. Now, keep this in context: an "off" night for Joe is far better than what most professional players dream of for their best "on" night. After the guitar switch to start the second half, Joe was simply on fire for Down, Down, Down. That and Clouds Race Across The Sky still have to be my favorite songs of this tour. Joe and the whole band get into such a zone during Clouds, it's simply breathtaking. All the problems mentioned above were really very minor and probably not noticeable to the vast majority of fans there. It was an incredible show and well worth the 8 hours (round trip) of driving from L.A.

i thought the show was a big success!!! joe, stu, jeff, and eric seem to get along really well onstage. i've heard that Rubina and New Blues was suppossed to be played, but some guy decided to try and take down joe's mic. i hope he wasn't the reason i didn't get to hear Rubina. i know that everyone in the House really enjoyed themselves seeing the Master of the Art. Keep up the great work!!! Te Koi

Joe, First let me start by saying this was the best concert ever!!! The reason why I scored you an 8 was because of 2 things. First, from where my wife and I were sitting we had to stand up to follow your right ( my wife sez your shyness was showing) and second (this is from my wife) you have a beautiful smile, she wanted to see it more often!!! All in all, it was trully a gift of music from one of the guitar greats!!! Thankyou :>) Keith & Pamela Briones ps are you creating a video or dvd of your tour? Thanks

This show was phenominal from the start! Sound, set list, the band and the aora was just magnificent. An outstanding job goes out to Eric. C. for his job well done. Joe played for 3 1/2 hours and was probably the happiest I have ever seen him since 88' I can't wait to see him here in Arizona on the 13th of may!!!

Ok, no 2nd encore. I'm assuming they didn't do it because as they were leaving the stage, it looked like some moron beached himself on the stage and messed with Joe's rig. Security was all over him, curtains hesitantly closed, and houselights came up.

On the bright side, this was by far the best performance of Always With Me, Always With You i've ever seen/heard. (Some girl even rushed joe on stage and he didn't miss a beat.) I'm not sure what posessed him tonight, but the vocal on Big Bad Moon were crazy good. I'm glad they took a few notches off the metronome for Surfin' and Boogie this tour.

Joe made mention of recording tonight, and there was a Westwood One truck outside. It seemed to me like they were playing a little bit conservatively, so that might explain it. Still an incredible show, in my book it was only topped by friday's show in S.F.
