Hello- I listen to metallica to cannibal corpse. i have seen them both in concert also as well as pretty much any other band u can name. But the E.o.C Concert was proably the must influencial concert i ever went to. It inspired me to practice and become a better guitarist.

the best i have ever seen!i saw him on the joe satriani tour back in '95 i think and this if possible was even better.got to meet joe afterwards and he was the sweetest guy, just like vai and petrucci(i think all the greats are nice guys).he played all the greats, mystical potatoe head groove thing, time, circles, even rubina!personnel highlights were time(downright sinister, that solo is is just sick!i cried when he played"until we say goodbye".although clouds race across the sky is my favorite on the new album, this blew it away live.he actually improvised most of c.r.a.t.sky and that was cool (it was cool to see him sweep pick like nobodys business.) overall, if you pass up on seeing joe , i will track you down and make you listen to stryper, see if i dont!

You rocked in (O-Town) Orlando,Fl. I really enjoyed the long play time without having to wait through an opening band. It sounded great!! Probably because I was standing two rows from the stage this time. You have the best fans, the crowd was great! I can't wait for your next visit, I'll be there again!!

my first time to see joe and the guys, i'm from wales in the UK and was on two week vacation in orlando, cool timing i thought, so i persuaded the wife to let me but two tickets. glad i did---- great show, great venue,, i could not find fault with music, superb, a little bit of a grumble though. i tried to move to various places at the venue to get a better sound, but the sound mix was not great anywhere. the performance made up for it though. also i was wondering why alot of the crowd was boo'ing Stu Hamm, he was as awesum as joe, i defiately did not boo the man, big clap all round cant wait to hear his solo release, already got two other of his albums. back to joe...faultless..keep it up guys...

I ranked this show at 10 but easily could have been a 20. The Joe Satriani experience was everything a fan could want to see and hear up close and personal. The house of blues is a small venue which makes a more intense show for everyone. While Joe's playing, its almost like a private show! I have been to many concerts in my 44 years and this was one that really ranks up there at the top, come to think of it, it is the top! The only thing that I would have liked is more seating, My wife and I found balcony seats so no sweat, but many stood for some 3 hours, hey I'm not complaining, just like to feel comfortable at the show. But as far as the show itself, what can I say that hasnt been said already, every element that makes a great performance was there. Non stop ( except for a 15 min break) shows the dedication Joe Satriani has for his fans, listening to the set list suggestions helped make this a greater show, we got to hear our favorites, played just like they should, live and loud!! Thanks again guys, a great show that will live in memory for many years. By the way, looking forward the the webcast show coming up, thanks for a second chance to see Joe and the guys perform. Now, what about that G-3 tour, saw the last one and plan on seeing the next!!!

Watching Joe as I have for many years from his days when he was in High School, I have always known that Joe was one of the best guitarist but not only that Joe has become one of the best entertainers in the business. He gives all his fans what they want and more. He also goes of on a tangent on a song or two to throw in some new experimentation. Joe and his BAND were on this night very tight. I was glad to see him and wish him continued sucess.

Joe and Stu and Jeff and Eric "Just Plain Wore Me Out!" As always, Joe caught the air on fire as he played ALL of my favorites (at least 3 songs from each CD). Once again I was in awe of what I was hearing and unable to believe that what I was seeing was actually happening. Joe's playing is unfathamable. When you are 10 feet from the stage and are watching his fingers go, and hearing the music, your mind just goes numb....

I drove down from Jacksonville by myself to see this show. I waited an hour and a half in line out front, another hour inside hanging on the barracade in front of Eric, just to have Joe come out and play a blistering near 3 hour set !!! Songs I thought I could only dream about hearing live, like Big Bad Moon, One Big Rush, and my personal favorite Friends. I was there for the Crystal Planet tour in July 98 and thought that nothing could be better than that. Well nothing has until May 4th, when you rolled back here. Stu, Jeff, and Eric, you guys are awesome. Thanks for the drumstick and signed pack of strings :). Joe, I just want to say thanks for sharing your music and giving us the chance to see you perform it. Amazing, simply Amazing.

Joe was absolutely phenomenal in Orlando! This is the first Satriani concert I've been too and my expectations were met and surpassed. It was as if the music was just flowing through his hands. Absolutely amazing. I'm so glad I was there. Brenda

My first concert was Pink Floyd on their Animals/Wish You Were Here tour in 1976. I’ve been to 100’s of shows since, but never saw one better, until I saw Joe & the gang on Thursday. What can I say? Everything that’s already been said about this tour is true! I just can’t quit rockin’. It’s Monday, but in my mind, I’m still at the show, which was last Thursday.

Debbie, my wife, came with me, and Jeff, my best friend, tagged along with his brother, Tracy. Neither my wife nor my friend had heard of Joe or his music before. They were truly floored. My wife was impressed with the type of crowd that was there, as was I. All ages, all types, all gettin’ into it. We were also impressed with how personable, and humble, Joe is.

The show started promptly @ 9:00 PM and ended @ 12:15. 3 hours of jammin’ w/a 15 minute intermission. Many of the songs were my personal favorites (Time, Raspberry Jam Delta-V, Cool #9, etc.). Stu’s solo included excerpts from Foggy Mountain Breakdown and The Beatles’ “I Want You”. Really cool solo, Stu!

The sound was AWESOME! You could feel the Bass and Drums pounding in you lower extremities on several songs. The clarity of Joe’s guitar work was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you have anyway to get to this show, then do whatever it takes to get there.

Joe, you have a special God-given ability. The perfect mix of musicianship, composition, virtuosity, and just outright jammin’ ability. While there are many good guitar players in their own right, you are the best of the best.

I’m sorry for the late post, but I couldn’t do anything ‘til today due to my web access being down since Friday (thanks to the Love bug virus).

WOW! my jaw is still draging the floor. Eric did a great job of adding keyboard and guitar fills, Stu was amazing as always but no peanuts theme :( and Jeff is right there with the best drummers I've ever seen live. My wife loved it also. the 300 mile round trip from Jacksonville to Orlando was well worth it. great selection for song list played something from every album and played for 2 and a half hours Joe knows how to put on a show. I like the fact there was no opening act. I hope Joe uses this same formula for his next tour, same band and no opening act......best show ever

The show was excellent! I've been a big fan since '87 and this was my first "satch" concert. His accuracy was nothing short of amazing. A real thrill to watch. I'm 28 and a guitar player myself since 11 and after seeing and hearing him Live for the first time my mind has been thoroughly stretched like the skin on an old... well, nevermind. Anyway, I brought my older brother who is studying to become a minister (he has never even heard of Joe before) and after the first song he was nearly hooked. I said Jeff, just sit back and let these mens God given talents Rock your Christain Butt off! Joe and his team did not disappoint. They played some of my favorites such as "Friends, One Big Rush (that song makes me want to drive fast whenever I hear it),The Extremist, Always with Me Always with You. I was wishing for "Memories" but maybe next time. Stu Hamm is probably the best I've ever heard. Great job guys! I'm still on cloud 9. There is one complaint I have though. It was so freakin loud (what did you say?) that if I were deaf I still would have enjoyed it all the same. Damn! Love you guys. ROCK ON FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The show was FANTASTIC, even though I own almost all of Joe's CD's this was the first time I ever saw him LIVE and it certainly won't be the last. Joe showed that he was a true ARTIST and I am already looking forward to his return to Central FL.

Only three words can describe this concert: AWSOME AS HELL!!! I was extremely impressed by Satch's speed and clarity. Not a single note played wrong. I must also say that Joe is one of the nicest people on the planet. He came out at 1:30 in the morning to a group of anxious fans and signed autographs for everyone and answered all our questions. I would now like to give my praises to the rest of the band. Great solo Stu! Awsome beats Jeff! Kick ass keyboards Eric! Thanks to all of you for the autographs. YOU ROCK JOE!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw Joe at the Tupperware convention center in Orlando several years ago (I think it was the Flying in a blue dream tour) and thought the show couldn't be topped, I was wrong. Given the techno flavor of the new CD, I was a little worried Joe would show up with only a drum machine! My fears were unfounded, the show was absolutely fantastic. While some guitarists tend to lose their chops and get sloppy (I won't mention names like Eddie, or Yngwie), if at all possible, Joe actually seems to be getting more technically proficient. I have never seen a live performance so intricate performed so flawlessly. As if that wasn't enough, the amazing Stu Hamm was once again on bass. A Joe show without Stu would be like Clinton without Moncia. Stu's solo once again had bass players turning the axes into end tables! Its hard to imagine the show being better, and I can't wait to do it again the next time they come to Florida. Thanks for the great show Joe!

Fantastic ,simply fantastic....there is no other way to describe last nights show. That was the 3rd time I had seen Joe & co.,and last nights show was far the best. The choice of songs was first class. My highlight was Crush of Love, there is just something about that song that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.Its great to see a musician enjoy what he is doing and also play for the crowd.I have been to many of concerts at HOB and this was the best. Today is a bit of a downer after being on such a high last night.I hope Joe & co. release a video of this tour.

There's not much that can be said about Joe and this tour that already hasn't already been said. What I witnessed last night in Orlando was a true Musican, guitarist, songwriter, entertainer and all around good guy. Joe was fantastic. This is the 3rd and the best show I've seen of Joe's. He played something from every albulm except Time Machine (I think). He played 4 songs off the new one (Devil's Slide, Borg Sex, Until we say Goodbye, CRATS. But what was best about the show was the older tunes such as Friends, One Big Rush(two of my personal favs), Circles, etc.. But like on the Cystal Planet tour, the song I thought stole the show was Raspberry Jam Delta -V. The albulm cut of this song is ok(probably my 6th favorite song on C.P), but live, this song absolutely kicks a???. Any future live albulm must include this one. But what amazed me the most about Joe was this, Joe plays for 3 hours, 30 songs, and maybe only once did I hear him hit a wrong note. I find that unbelieveable. The accuracy, the speed, the feeling he has and he made it all look totally effortless. I told all of my friends that if Tyra Banks, Halle Berry, Pamela Anderson, and Elle MacPhearson all showed up at my door at 6:00pm on May 4, 2000 and said we want to spend the next 6 hours with you and we will do anything you please, but this would be your only chance, I would say "Sorry girls, I have other plans. I have a Joe Satiani concert to go to. But if yor can help me get backstage you can tag along." Joe you are great. Whenever I'm feeling down I know I can put a Joe Satriani CD on and feel better. Joe Satriani is an inspiration(sp?), a hero and a god to me. Joe your the best! Don't miss this show. Anyone! I am thinking about going over to Tampa Monday for his show over there.

Joe was his usual awesome self, but what made this his best show (in my opinion) of the four that I have seen was that he played something from just about every album. A number of tunes that I have never heard done live.

Some of what I can remember (in album order - the only mechanism that seems to work for me at the moment);

Rubina (the closing tune of the show,)

Surfin' with the Alien, Ice 9, Always with You, Always with Me, Satch Boogy, Circles,

Crush of Love (I think that's the name. From Dreaming #11),

Flying in a Blue Dream, Mystical Potatoe Head Groove Thing, One Big Rush, Bid Bad Moon,

Friends, Extremist, Summer Song,

Cool No. 9, Down, Down, Down,

Crystal Planet, Love Thing, Rasberry Jam Delta, Ceremony, Train of Angels, Time (opened with this),

Devil's Slide, Borg Sex, Until We Say Goodbye, One other track from 'Engines'.

There are probably others that escape me at the moment. I don't yet have Time Machine, so I unfamiliar with those tunes.

The new rhythm/keyboard player, Eric Caudieux, added the presence necessary to make a number of these tunes really work live.

The show, including a 15 minute break and a couple of encores was about three hours long. No opening act, just all Joe and the group.

I stayed away from the beer, and was able to remember much more than I did from the Crystal Planets show at HOB Orlando.

All in all, a memorable night.

Don

Joe....was......AWESOME!!! I'm a 14 year old DIE HARD Satriani fan and i know I'm pretty much by myself but I took one of my KORN and LIMP BIZKIT lovin friends to the show. He kinda looked at me funny when the show first started but after the first couple of songs i looked at him and he said "He is AMAZING!" Yep thats right John! Well John and I really enjoyed the show and we were just goin' nuts on the right side of the stage and Joe looked at us and waved several times!!!! Thanks Joe for the 3 picks you threw us!!!! Also, as a guitar player, I want to deeply thank Mr. Satriani for inspiring me and giving me a breath of fresh air from all the "thrash trash" music going around now. Your music will always touch me in a special way no matter how old I am.

I haven't seen Joe since Brixton 93 in the UK.

Took my 16 year old son to see a guitar "god" and joe did not disappoint. He played a brilliant set featuring every goodie you could imagine. Surprisingly he only played one track from the new album the brillaint "borg Sex". I had hoped he would pay "Attack" my son believes there is no guitar on that track.

We were treated to almost 3 hours of the 'satch man' my personal favorite was 'love song' from crystal planet. Stu Hamm almost stole the show with an entertaining bass solo.

Satriani did not play one bum note and solidified himself as a true entertainer. Not through words/wisecracks or special effects but by pure musicianship a perfect lesson for all those techno junkies and hip hop wanna be's who let machines do the work. Pure body and soul and skills beyond mortal imagination allowed Satriani to craft together a collosal gallery of work into an entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable set.
