He opened with my Favorite song, of ALL TIME, "TIME" It was unfortunate that I saw the set list on the mixing board. Note to you guys, have the sound guy hide the set list. It was the greatest show I had ever seen. My dad said the same thing, and he saw ALL the greats, Page, Hendrix, Clapton, all of them. He said, Joe Satriani is the best ever.

Great gig guys, only thing I wished for was that all band members would take part in that "I want you" improvisation the bass player pulled out :). I would love to see you performing modern versions of some classic pieces. It's all good.

What a fantastic show,Joe! We were fortunate enough to meet you after the performance. Thanks for the autographs and the conversation. It was definitely worth the drive from Minneapolis! I was really impressed with the way you took the time to talk to the young muscician that was there after the show.I'm sure he'll remember it for the rest of his life. Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet you, see ya in Seattle!

I have seen Joe about 5 times in Chicago when I get a chance first was at the Aragon Brawl room and the then 3x at the Riv, well it seemed like the HOB was the best rock'n show that I have seen Joe do. The sound was the best and the HOB was just going on. Thanks for the good show.

Happy Easter! That's sure what it was.. I was a little unsure as to what to expect from Joe and his band mates this time around with the testing of new sound. I must say I was completely satisfied with the performance that these individuals put on! Over the course of the last 7 years I have followed this group of musicians and they keep getting better with time. If you haven't seen them live you have no idea what you are missing. I'd hate to say more as it would definitely spoil the mystique of the show. Great Job guys!!

The show was unbeleivable. I live on a small Island in Lake Erie and the closes show was House of Blues Chicago. I never been there and was very glad that I made the ferry ride and 5 hour drive to see your show. The set list was on of its kind. I was unlucky tho at the show , the guy next to me caught a pick and the the guy on my other side caught Jeff's drum stick. The one thing that I am amazed at is ..when Joe plays a really technical part in a song...I dont think he even has his eyes open...that shows to me that Joe feels the notes coming. Thanks alot for the 3hr + of music and memories.

Unbelievable show. When he started the encore with "Friends," my life was complete. The only way the show could have been any better is if they had played for 4 or 5 hours instead of 3. The consummate musical experience.

Saw the show last night at House of Blues. Joe was unbelievable as usual, and I think "Engines" is a fantastic album. Joe and Eric did an excellent job arranging the E of C tunes so that they rocked just as hard as all of his stuff. "Clouds Race Across the Sky" was terrific.

Even after seeing it for the second time live, I still can't believe how good the stuff from Crystal Planet is. "Raspberry..." "Love Thing" "Time" and especially "Crystal Planet" are true examples of Joe's technical wizardry. How does he do THAT? Really liked the blues-y intro to "Summer Song" and the mellow "Down, Down, Down."

For all of you still waiting to see him on this tour, do NOT miss this. It was three hours of rockin’--with no screwing around between songs. Thanks, Joe!

WOW is pretty much all I can say. I am not going to run down the setlist for you because I am sure others will do it for me. All I have to say is I have seen Joe five times and this was by far the best show I had ever seen. Borg Sex and Until we say goodbye were awesome along with everything else Joe played. If you guys have a chance and haven't seen Joe yet on this tour drop whatever you are doing, get in your cars, drive to ticketmaster and get tickets now. You won't regret it. We love you in Chicago Joe thanks for some awesome shows.

I attended both shows this weekend at the House of Blues. Each time the band performed wonderfully, (with the possible exception of Jeff's little gaffe during "Rasberry Jam Delta-V", hey, Stu, stop throwing things at the poor fellow). I particularly liked the arrangements of the "Engines of Creation" songs, (most notably "Clouds Race..."), and the little improv intros to songs like "Cool #9" and "Summer Song". Stu's variation of his bass solo, (interpolating the Beatles "You Never Give Me Your Money" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" was particularly tasty. While I would rate the band's performance a 10 all the way, (no surprise there), please don't play the House of Blues again. The absolute lack of security is appalling. Some lady standing near me passed out and there were no employees there to assist while her date carried her out. It's a lovely hall, but in my considered opinion the management of this establishment is not fan friendly. Given my choice, I would rather wait outside in the cold at the Riviera or the Aragon Brawlroom for hours than give any more of my hard-earned money to the folks that manage this venue.

Joe! This ranking button is unfair! Both the two shows in Chicago were excellent! I finally got to see you up close to watch you play and I was amazed at your precision. The kid next to me was in awe the way you played everything note-for-note compared to your recordings. Loved the new beginning to Summer Song, but again my favorite was Borg Sex. I'm sure Eric will give you a run for the money by the end of your tour, and as a "typical" frenchman, it was funny he kept eye-balling the attractive young girl standing to my right. Oh and that crazy blond girl on my left truly loves you, said she wants to have your baby! Sheesh, fans! What they won't ask for! Well after a 3 hour drive and 5 hours of sleep, I'm off to work-Later, rosster
