An absolutely fantastic show by one of the greatest guitarist of all times! We had the honor of meeting with Joe who is very personable. It was a pleasure to meet such a great guy who is truly humble and Rocks your socks off!!! The Iron City venue is a great venue, not a bad seat in the house.

Everything was amazing, and Joe is as awesome as ever!

Meaning absolutely no disrespect to the other great musicians Joe has toured with over the decades, I think Marco Minneman is the best drummer I've ever seen. His drum solo after the intermission was phenomenal, and the beat he laid down on "Time" absolutely blew away every other live version I've ever heard.

Mike Keneally and Bryan Beller are unbelievable as well. I wish I had captured a recording of the call and answer during the intro to "God is Crying" because it was awesome. I knew those guys were good, but that exchange was where it really came through for me.

My only complaint about the show (besides not digging Mike's keyboard solo as much as everything else) was that it didn't look like Iron City had sold out, which I blame on an inexplicable lack of publicity on the part of the local radio stations. I just hope it doesn't mean that Joe skips Birmingham on his next tour.

Please keep coming back to Birmingham, Joe!
