What can I say a new album (awesome by the way some way out there tunes) brings a new tour, this was one of the best days of my life after meeting Joe (my dream finally come true) and getting my JS20s signed, the show was absolutely amazing, as usual Joe blew the crowd away with his dazzling array of magical finger hopping, I must admit that the sound at the front was the loudest I have experience at one of Joe's gigs, my ear's was paying the price later! Towards the end of the show was the highlight of the night, I managed to position my self right in front of him, truely amazing stuff seeing Joe that close playing to perfection, got saome amazing footage of him. Best night ever! that is until the next tour probably in 2-3 yrs. : (.

It's been 13 years since I first heard Surfing with the Alien in a bar in the south of France and instantly connected with it. Unfortunately I was taken away from my music for 25years, because sadly, my late wife was an alcholic and it took everything I had to keep things together. However, seeing and meeting Joe at Colston Hall in Bristol was a dream come true ! I've been playing guitar since I was 18 and find that my playing emulates the same sentiments as Joe's ! Please note I never copy anything that anyone does I just play how I feel ! The concert really blew me away, it was full on from the start and hit me like a ton of bricks, a true rollercoaster ride but what a trip it was ! I also impressed with Joe's keyboard/ guitarist and thought the duets were excellent ! Wasn't sure about the sound at first but it seemed to get better as the concert went on ! I was hoping to get to handle the 2410 at the stage tour because I can't afford one yet so I was a little disappointed when this didn't happen. I just wanted to know what the 6105 frets felt like ! But having Joe autograph my jacket in 'muscle car orange', made up for it. I'd also like to thank Dan Baker for his enthusiasm and dialogue throughout the stage tour although less impressed with Joe's guitar technician who seemed reluctant to tell me anything ! But overall I had a truly brilliant time and enjoyed every minute ! P.S. It was Joe, I saw on my way to one of the department stores earlier in the day

Having seen Joe the last time he played Bristol three years ago I was thrilled to have a another chance of witnessing the force that is Joe in my hometown again and he did not disappoint.

The combination of Joe's great songs and a stellar band produced a magical night. Trading licks with Keneally or letting Marco off the leash Joe is a true band leader and his own playing was effortless and inspirational. A solid performance from Bryan and some great visuals completed the package.

A great night and a world class composer and player - thanks Joe!
