This was my 16th or 17th time seeing Joe, and, while he never disappoints, the sound was exceptional last night. Andalusia was truly amazing, and all of the other songs sounded fantastic. The new bass player was great, and the band sounded solid. Each member brought a wonderful sense of style, and to hear Joe play live at least once a year is an absolute must for me. Many thanks to Joe for sharing his music with the world.

Wow is all I can say. Been to many many JS shows and I must say this show was by far the best I've seen. Joe was on it last night and you could see how much fun he was having. I read a bunch of reviews about the sound quality from his different guitars and I have to agree. His red and white guitars were rather mellow, but when he brought out the orange guitar, man that thing bit and crunched. There was something different about that guitar because it had a bad ass sound and rocked the house! The band was super tight and the sound was great. I liked the Philly-bred bass player, but I did miss Stu. The drummer was excellent and what can I say about Kenneally. He's a musical genius sums it up. Ok, so here's what I remember as far as songs played last night. Hordes of Locusts, War, Why, Always with you Always with me, Satch Boogie, Flying in a Blue Dream, Mystical Potato Groove, Big Bad Moon and just about all of the new album, just to name a few. Joe did an extended version of Wind in the Trees from the new album and it was my highlight of the night. The encore was Crowd Chant and Summer Song. Anyone going to a future show, you're in for a treat. Keep an eye out for the orange guitar!! Joe, from myself, Alan, Kill and Chaweed, we want to thank you for another awesome night that we will never forget. Come back soon.
