Its true the music was very loud, I think its cause of the opening act. The previous show I went to had perfect sound!
Nevertheless it was an awesome event and most people enjoyed themselves!
Next time, Im gonna be there early!

Like Arjan Huisintveld, this was my third concert of Joe, and just like Arjan i had problems with the sound during the concert (didn't see Steve Fister). I have seen a lot of concerts (also in Paradiso), but it's sad to say that the sound this time ruined almost my whole evening. In other reviews from this tour there are also some complaintes about the sound, but during these concerst it improved during the set and i can't say that it improved during this night. I didn't leave the venue, because it's real fun to see Joe and his band perform. Hope the next time you play here Joe that i leave the concert in a positive way.

Edit: Earplugs wouldn't help this concert Morisson. Loud is no problem, but the sound quality was terrible.

Great to see Joe for the second time this tour (I also went to the Tilburg Gig)!

Paradiso is a great place to see bands, and Joe wasn't an exception. Me and an friend went up the first balcony (Joe's side) and enjoyed the band up close. Luckily Joe is standing more to the middle of the stage on this tour, so we had a good view on his hands.

The gig was loud, but nothing my earplugs couldn't handle (kids, ALWAYS BRING EARPLUGS!). The band was into it and improvised more than on the Tilburg gig, which I really liked. We screamed and yelled as much as we could (which the band seemed to enjoy).

Again a great Stu solo and of course GHOST.

Overall a great gig.

P.s.:

Stu, We got the picks.

Sad, sad, sad. Since Live in San Francisco is my favorite DVD I was looking forward to see Joe live for the first time. Well, i saw him but did not hear him ! It was one big noise in which Joe's playing drowned completly. It was that bad that I felt sick after a half an hour and my son still has a earpain. We left the place after an hour. I have been to hundreds of blues, rock and jazz concerts but this one comes close to producing the worst sound ever. Frankly I think it's a disgrace after paying so much money. A rip off.

My third concert of Joe... I don't know what happened but during the Steve Fister band something went terribly wrong.. :( My ears hurt like hell..! Was it me or was Steve Fister a bit loud..? Maybe it was because I stood a meter away form the stage and right in front of his amp but my ears just shut down and when I walked all the way to the back during Joe's first song it was still very painfull.. :( After song number six I left the paradiso... Don't know what happened there, I've been to a lot of rock concerts but this time my ears couldn't take it...

I was there with my girlfriend and as all the shows before we've visited the last 19 years this was an amazing one again. It is always good to see the Master at work, and he keeps amazing us. The show had all the good, new songs, old song, rocking! Of course the crowd chant was amazing and fun. Joe put on an orange wig again (as he did in 2006 during the EK football) and Stu did a very great solo-act. It is good to see that Stu still plays with Joe since so many years.
Also i was so lucky to be the winner of the After-Show pass!!!! and we got to meet Joe in person back-stage after the show. That was really a moment to remember for the rest of our lives! After being a fan over 19 years, this is an experience you cannot describe! Thank you Galen for this opportunity and thanks Joe, band and crew for the great show.

Hey!!

I was there, all alone, 16 years old.... (aaahhh), because no one wanted to come with me (i wonder why)! I just ran in, right to the stage! So, there i was, right in front of your Wah! What happend then, is something i cant describe, it was absolutely AMAZING!! I dont know what else to say,..... Because i have no words for it! When you did One Big Rush, i couldnt stop smiling! This was my first time at one of your concerts, so it was probably even better. I hope you come back soon,I'll be there!
