BEST GIG EVER. Normally concerts are pretty to see and good to listen but in this concert there was so much adrenaline and emotion of all kind that I was like blind. Starrin at him and at his band. Adrian Legg was phenomenal with those "accorda scorda" tricks. love it and he aggrees that italians are not so bad compared to Nefertiti! AH! AH! Very nice the song there was before Joe was entering the stage (some sort of rock to get us alert that things were to come serious) and suddently this C chord bass synth that we heard and a sort of nose coming from a guitar. It was him! All the best songs from his carrer and something like 7 of the super colossal album. It was hes birthday and I've waited 9 hours before the start of the concert after 30 hours in all of jurney by train to get in the first and central row right in front of Joe. And it's all very very worth it. I was loud singing TANTI AUGURI A TE!!!! And cool Joe wearing ITALY's soccer shirt with 50 on it. I only hope that the clip that ZZ was filming that day will appear somewere (or in a dvd or in the site, the important is that I would like to have it to commemorate one of my best moments in my life).

SALUTO ANCHE I NAPOLETANI CHE STAVANO ACCANTO!

EVERYBODY DO NOT EVER STOP LISTENING JOE!!

Only a word to describe the Gig:A W E S O M E!!!!!

Joe was ,as always,in perfect shape and delivered a show without any glitch.A cool new way ,oriental melody and circles (surpise, surprise!) were the apexes of the evening. The rest of the boys supported the Maestro perfectly. Thank you for the show!and ...happy birthday again. Danilo

Long time Joe fan. First time I almost saw him was two years a go (2004) during the last G3 tour. I say almost because, after flying from Macedonia to Vienna, then taking a train to Geneva/Evian, and driving back to Zurich for the gig, my girlfriend fainted during the concert! I spent most of it with the security guys trying to revive her. The reason for the whole detour was that she is French, from Toulouse. Two years go by and I am all excited that Joe is on tour again. During most of May I was in Rome, for an exhibition. As soon as concert tickets go on sale I get two (one for me the other for her). Rome seems the closest place to Macedonia concert wise and the plane ticket is not that expensive compared to say Paris or Brussels. I get all happy and excited, the works. Besides, the Rome concert happens to be on the same date as the fainted Zurich one, (on Joe’s birthday 15th of July); so I am thinking to my self: poetic justice! Better a full Joe concert then a dude playing a harp as a warm up gig for him and Vai. But then I get back home to Macedonia and I discover that Joe is playing in Belgrade (when I was buying the tickets in Rome the Belgrade concert wasn’t listed on his web site), which is much closer not to mention cheaper (getting to Rome, staying there, getting back…). So I say hey, we’ll just drop the Rome concert and go see him in Belgrade. We get on the 2 am bus from Skopje to Belgrade, get in Belgrade around 8: 30, all primed up, (I actually bring a copy of my masters thesis, which I want to give to Joe; he is in the acknowledgments). We walk around Belgrade for couple of hours and then the fateful phone call comes. Her dog, the one she brought over from Toulouse just a few days earlier, ran away from the dog hotel, safe-care-place we left him in so we can go see the concert. We hop on the first bus back. I have four Supper Colossal tour tickets framed on my wall of fame.

It was always my dream to see Joe live, and knowing it was always gonna be a tall order to see Joe in my homeland MALTA,I decided to do it the hard way. From Malta me and Adrian ,a Joe worshipper, traveled to Catania,Sicily. From there we found a flight to ROME.Obviously Italian Taxis were on strike,so u can imagine how hard it was to find the venue in the middle of Rome having never been there. It was tough. All i can say that after a minute of JOE 's show all i could thing of were five and words. It was all worth it. Joe was unbelievable. From the first minute till the last, donning an italian soccer shirt with a big 50 on the back,Mr.Satriani left us speechless and amazed.so were Campitelli ,who makes drumming seem so easy, and Mr.LaRue and Mr Hnasen were amazing. It was such a marvellous surprise and an honour to find out it was joe's birthday and that I spent his special day in his company. thanks so so much, and if I had the chance I would do it all again tomorrow. God Bless you JOE

Excellent: two hours of superlative instrumental artistry! Great acoustics in evocative amphitheatre like open air tennis stadium surrounded by roman hills. We flew out from the UK just for this special show - it was Joe's 50th birthday. Italians were great: before the encore Joe got a special 50 shirt, a big cake with candles and the whole audience sang happy birthday! We saw Joe on 4 of the UK dates, including a platinum package in Manchester (my 5Oth birthday present to me....). The more you listen to his music and the way he perfoms it the more you get out of it. Beautful inspirational intrumental music that can touch your soul written and performed by a true artist. Happy birthday Joe from Catherine and Tony.
