Joe absolutely owned the stage at the HOB in New Orleans. Love the sound of the new Peavey JSX's, and Joe's over-the-top playing left the crowd screaming for more. I have to admit, it's been a while since I last saw Joe live - it was the Extremist Tour in 1992 - and he's only gotten better. Awesone performance!

Eric Johnson did a great job opening the show, and his signature guitar tones were so dead-on, you'd swear he set his tone controls 20 years ago and ripped the knobs off!

As great of a show is it was, there was one disappointing fact - a lot of us were really hoping for Joe & Eric to do at least one song together, but no luck. All in all, still the best fretwork that I've seen in over a decade!

This was my first Satriani gig. My boyfriend is a guitarist who thinks Joe is one of the lltime best guitarist. I did not know what to expect even though I have heard Joe's music prior to the show. The show rocked!! I was amazed!
