Satriani performed wonderfully as he always does at every show I've ever seen him at. The mix was great for his band and everything. I give the show an 8 though because I thought Eric Johnson was absolutely the sloppiest I've ever seen him. I love Eric Johnson's playing.....love it, but he was totally sloppy that night. Did anybody besides me notice how he would move his fingers sometimes and no notes would come out? And what was with the new attitude about playing? He never used to try to look cool while he played. The mix for his band was terrible also, in my opinion. He only played a couple of songs that anyone wanted to hear. Overall, I enjoyed Satriani's set and therefor the show was pretty good.

As usual, Joe put on a wonderful performance. I'm not going to get into great detail for fear of repeating others, but getting drawn for the meet and greet for after the show was a great experience. For anyone who has never met him, he is a very personable and humble man. He never rushes through the crowd to get to everyone, but takes his time as though YOU are his only priority. As refreshing as that sounds, he is truly a rarity when it comes down to celebrities and how they treat his or her fans. I encourage anyone who is on the fence on purchasing premium tickets to meet Joe backstage that they will in no way be disappointed when meeting this living legend. Thank you, Joe, for a wonderful time and I've already started to save for your next visit to Florida. Boca and Tampa were my 17th and 18th show seeing you perform and I'm looking forward to making it to number 20.

From the opening sounds of Flying In A Blue Dream to the closing riffs of Summer Song - Satch rocks the house. It was the perfect mix of old and new material (love the Super Collossal songs) and the sound was awesome. I really like the tone of the Peavey JSX's. I can't wait for my next chance to see Joe again. Maybe then I can figure out how he is doing that muted, hammer run in The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing.

Oustanding show! I've been a fan since 1980 whatever and sad to say this was the first Joe Satriani Concert. I know........I'm bad. Nonetheless, I truly enjoyed the show and I most definitely enjoy the new album. I will say that it was great to hear some of the other great songs fom previous albums. It was equally great to see Joe play guitar as effortlessly as he can.

...Wow. I'm still reeling from the whole experience... and am very glad that I decided to make the leap and go with the Platinum Package. The seats were great (second row, center), and I was amazed to hear that I did not need to retreat behind the earplugs that I brought along. The other shows I've been to, they've been a necessary discomfort to tune down the distortion in my ears.

Seeing Eric Johnson in concert was a first for me, though I've been an avid listener ever since I was 7 years old and the CD player that my parents had rigged up only got through the first 4 tracks of Ah Via Musicom (I've since then heard the rest of the album). He and his band seem to have a good energy together. Good show, though I only recognized a few of the songs they played.

I didn't guess what song Joe would be opening with (which has been a past-time with my friend)... but Flying in A Blue Dream never ceases to amaze me and thrill me in ways that I cannot begin to explain. The lighting matched up very well with all the songs played - especially with Redshift Riders. Too cool. Great sound from what I heard, I'm not speaking on behalf of everyone, though. The segues from song to song were great, though it was slightly difficult for me to go from Ten Words to The Mystical Potato Head Groove thing.. as I was a bit overwhelmed. Ten Words is an incredibly powerful song. Even listening to the CD in my car takes my breath away and all I can do is just focus on the song.
Dave is excellent with the band. I can't place why he looks so familiar, though... Crowd Chant was tons of fun, especially with the people around me really getting into it. If it's another thing I got with the Platinum Package was a few friends for the evening. Fun times. still reeling... will be for quite some time.
Thank you, Joe.

I really enjoyed seeing Joe Satriani Live. He puts on a great show with alot of enthusiasm. I didn't have real good seats, and I don't know if where I was seated had anything to do with it, but I had a hard time hearing both the guitar leads and the rythym guitar over the bass and drums.

Two Great shows. First time to see Eric and I was seriously impressed. Mucho tone. Interesting song selection. I don't believe that I have ever seen anyone actually admit to playing a Monkee's song (!) Ended with a nice jam>cliffs of Dover.

Then Joe and Band came on. From Blue Dream to Summer Song it was incredable. Joe was ROCKIN'. This was only the second time that I have seen him, (other was G-3 with Vai and Ingie in Clearwater a year or so ago - another great show). Lots of highlights in the show-but Robot and Circle (GREAT Jam) stand out.

Got to meet BOTH Eric and Joe after the show. Got autographs and photos. Very gracious guys who obviously appreciate the fans. Much thanks to both of you.

One final note: I read some earlier reviews that complained about the sound/volumn in their particular venue. This caused some pre-show concerns. I was in the 7th row, close to the left side. It was loud, but not too loud (ie. my ears still work-kinda) And the mix was excelent-although the rythum guitar could have been up a bit. I have been in TBPAC before and the house sound has always been very good. Great food before the show-went with good friends and a tremendious show. "Thank you for a real good time"

As always, I leave wanting more and will wait patiently for the next tour to come thru. I took my 2 nephews for the first time to see Joe. They are 14 and 16. They play Bass and Electric. I think they were mesmerized at the whole thing. I think they really enjoyed it. So, this concert was extra special for me. Bringing new blood into the mix. I love turning new people onto Joe.

I really enjoyed it when Joe and gang went off track and ad libbed on a couple of songs. I really like hearing it when they just jam at the end for a few minutes. it really makes it special.

I also hadn't seen Eric Johnson since the early 90s so that was great. So many thanks to Joe and company for an all out super fantastic performance. I never leave dissatisfied. Many thanks and See Ya ! Next Go around. Cool_Ice9

The show was awesome as usual. I think this is the 6th time I've seen JOE and the 1st was also at the TBPAC back in the day of the "Surfing" tour. I really enjoyed Eric Johnson as well. My son and I attended the show with the Gold ticket package, 7th row center. The only reason I rated this show a 9 is because last tour we had front row seats right in front of JOE. That's hard to beat, in addition to the meet n' greet last year as well. To summarize, JOE never disappoints. Joe's showmanship has really developed over the years. He's really having fun up there and it transfers to the audience. C-ya next time JOE!
