My wife and i attended the show at the Hippodrome and loved it . My only complaint was the sound was too loud, and some of the songs were a little muffled. Joe is the greatest !

aweome show unbelievable joe played for a crazy amount of time it seemed like at least 3 hours long! i was really drunk and almost got arrested! awesome show went on forever which was a good thing, my friends were all blown away! Show was frkn crazy! I worked my way through the crowd and security and snuck up on the side of the stage and sat down. I watched the damn show on the side of the stage. It was amazing i was on stage with joe throughout the end of his performance. I wonder if he saw me or even remembers. And then after that i tried to go back stage so i hopped up on my two feet and sneaked around to the backstage when immediately some member of the crew spotted me and yelled "HEY YOU!" WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE!?"" I said "Hey man , Ill give you five bucks if you let me stay" LOL! anyways to say the least he declined my generous offer and i ran away from him and back into the crowd where a police officer i believe was looking for me. Well me being the drunk idiot that i was at the time i ran into him and said "Hey, man who are you looking for let me help you find him." He gave me this look ill never forget and he realized that he was looking for me the guy with the long dark hair in a pony tail! LOL anyways he was kind enough to just throw me out and not write me a ticket or take me into jail. I wouldnt have paid anything anyways because i was in a different state and thats how i roll. But anyways the show was over at that point. During the show i kept on hitting on this beautiful african woman that was working at the venue sadly to say i got thrown out and the show was over before i could receive her number. Outside after the awesome mega show and one of the coolest nights of my life, trouble again began to ensue as someone started trouble with my friends so i had to take some action and began to verbally destroy her. But the show was amazing extremely long extremely good. It was almost overwhelming. I hope everyone else in attendance had as much fun as i did although i must say that most Satch fans are old heads that dont like to rock out as much as i do. At one show i had a guy tell me to not yell and to SHHHH, like it was a library or something he is lucky i didnt break his face. but joe i know enjoyed my theatrics. I love you joe keep rocking and i will try to liven up your crowds as often as i can. You deserve better than people sitting like its a cinema. I understand to take in and enjoy the music feeling as i am a well established musician But you have to remember it is a concert and the musician expects you to give back as much energy and enthusiasm as they are putting forth. And joe to me puts so much energy and passion into his music every time i have seen him live that i feel like the crowd just wasnt worthy of watching him they were worthy of me jack hammering their asses but thats about it. Anyways im wild and crazy and loved every minute of it. And if there wasnt so many LAmo's in attendance joe maybe would have noticed that there still are some true rock n' roll fans out there that are truly inspired and influenced by his rock n roll magical playing ability. ROCK ON joe your the best guitarist in the world by far and you write the best music of any instrumental guitarist around. not to knock the others but i love your music the best by far. EJ is next to the best! :) GUNS N' ROSES WILL BE BACK! JOE TOUR WITH THEM! NOW THERE IS A BAND AND NAME FOR THAT MATTER THAT IS WORTHY OF YOUR PRESENCE AND ABILITY AND MUSICIANSHIP! KEEP PLAYING AND HOPEFULLY YOU WILL INSPIRE THE NEXT GREAT SATRIANI! BY THE WAY YOUR HAIR IN THE 80'S ROCKS LOL.

Hey Joe. Wow, I have to say, I saw you at Hippodrome theater in Baltimore and I have to say, that was probably the best night of my life! Maybe one night better was when you opened for Dream Theater about two years back for dream theater. Seeing my favorite artist(you) open for my fav. band(dream theater) was the most amazing thing ive ever seen. You should bring Petrucci in for G3 again. I missed it in 2000 and I was very dissapointed. You are my favorite artist and thanks for giving me two incredible nights!

this is the 2nd time ive seen joe,the first time was last year at pier six when he did the dual bill with dream theatre.the pier six show was great(but way to short)however the hippodrome for one thing is a great place to see a concert, the acoustics are amazing, but the show was three hours and the list of songs was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!my favorites being BAMBOO,MORRACAN SUNSET,AND HORDES OF LOCUSTS joe you are with out a doubt the greatest guitar god alive today.we sat in the balcony(about six rows back) and our view was great,i thought the band was very good and jeff is one of my favorite drummers he keeps an awesome beat. i give this show a ten because joe was there of course, but also the venue, the song list, and the crowd it was one of the finest shows ive been to,and there have been alot. Joe thanks again for one more unforgetable evening hope to SEE you here in baltimore again sometime soon. rsretep (pete glover)

The Baltimore show was Fantastic. You and the boys kicked ass! Can't wait for you to come back to Bal'mer and do it again! This was my 3rd Satch show and they keep getting better time after time. Thanks for coming out after the show and signing autographs. I was surprised that only 5 people stayed after. But what can you do. Joe thanks again for the 3 hours of Fantastic Music. One of the best concerts I've ever seen! Don't forget us when G3 starts up again!

This was my thrid Satch show. Of the 3, I liked this shows set list the best. It was a good mix of new stuff, old songs, and a few newer ones I haven't heard live yet. At the other shows I've been at, Satch stuck to the album versions of songs pretty closely except for the extro solos. But at this show there was a lot of jammnig durring most of the songs. Satch also seemed more alive on the stage. He was getting into the songs more and doing things like jumping around and getting down on his knees. The best song of the night was Bamboo. So with a lively Satch and a good mix of songs I bet your wondering why I only gave it an 9. Well, I thought something was wrong with the sound of Satch's guitar. It was certainly loud enough, but the clarity just didn't seem to be there. I also wasn't to impressed with Matt and Galen. Lastly, IMO Satch should have done "I Believe" instead of "Strange" becasue it has a much better vocal part.

Oh, I almost forgot....Did anyone one else notice the guy in the front left box moon the audience during the tapping solo of Satch Boogie? Joe you're the greatest guitarist on Earth!!! Keep crankin' out the awsome tunes.

Wow! As usual Joe was amazing! I saw him the night before in Philly, and even though it was the same set, it was definitely a different show. Joe's ability to improvise and jam was far better tonight. How about the Hippodrome? It looks like Baltimore finally has a great venue suited for Joe. It was great seeing the gang of Satch fans as well!

It just keeps getting better. This was my 4th time seeing Satch, and just when I think I have seen the best he has to offer, I'm blown away again. This was a phenominal show. All Joe, all night, alright, with me. He played with alot of energy and animation, as well as with his usual mind blowing ,Not of this Earth, ability. It was well worth the price of the Platinum experience we purchased. We went backstage before the doors opened. Got lots of pics and the opportunity to see Joe's set-up and guitars, up close. After the show we met the affable guitar genius and took pictures and got autographs. An experience of a lifetime, and I recommend it to all. Great night; can't wait till the next time!
