The only way I can describe the experience I had at this store is - I was a lot like a kid on Christmas. I mean the drive there was like waiting in bed for Christmas morning to arrive, then arriving at the store, was like seeing the present, but unable to open it yet. Then when Joe came onstage and performed - present open, but 10 times better than anticipated. But then - being allowed to meet him & talk to him & get pix, was like you were happy with your presents, but then you got the big one you really wanted, but didn't expect.

OK, enough with analogies. On top of all of that, Joe also imparted a lot of his wisdom concerning technique vs. heart & soul. It was very insightful as well as inspiring. Very Kewl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe is very a very warm, sincere person. He graciously & attentively listened to everyone who talked to him. He was very cordial when I asked if he would pose w/ my guitar & look like I was giving HIM lessons! I didn't even realize that he actually was funny & looked like he was a confused student. It don't get much better than that! The amp, also sounds like the BOMB, and I will purchase one when my budget allows.

If your reading Joe, a million thanx for the performance, advice and the signing time, as well as all of the inspiration for the past 17 years I've been listening and learning from you.. You are a class act all the way around. Can't wait to see your next tour!

I don't think I can add any more on top of what everyone else has said. This was a great experience! The performance was superb and the Q&A session was excellent. Thanks for a great time, come back and do it again soon!

This was an unbelievably cool event. If you are any kind of fan of Joe’s I would highly recommend getting yourself to one of these in store clinics. His playing is flawless and he’s extremely accommodating of everyone’s questions, from beginners to people who have been playing for a long time.

Meeting Joe was also a thrill. It was like talking to any other guy who just loves guitars and you forget that he’s one of the top players in the world. My wife brought an old shirt from the “Extremist” tour and Joe was really into it because it was so old. It was cool to see him so interested. We got that signed and a bunch of other stuff.

If you’re reading this, Joe, thanks so much for taking time to talk with us. Come back to Cincinnati soon.

WOW!

Thank you so much Joe for an outstanding presentation of your music and new amp. My Wife and I drove 4 and a half hours from Michigan to see this and It was so well worth the trip. Having you play so close to us was such a treat. The first review says it best, it was like you where playing in our living room. The new songs sound so great live and the classic songs sound so alive with the new amp. Also thank you so much for the autographs as well and the great photo with you. Anybody that has a chance to see this clinic, go! Joe is so nice to everyone, answers everyone's questions and plays so great.

Thank You Joe for an outstanding evening, a great performance and true inspriation.

Set list was Satch Boogie, FIABD, Summer Song, Midnight, AWMAWU, Gaaauuu, Up in Flames, and Hands in the Air. I'll try to post the photo's ASAP!

What a treat to be able to see Joe Satriani in such an intimate setting. He literally was playing no more than 30 feet from all in attendance. My friend said that it was as if he was playing in your living room. Joe played 8 songs including three from the new album. Gnaahh and Up In Flames sound fantastic live. Those of you with a chance to see him play on the upcoming tour are going to love the new stuff. He would pause every so often to explain what the amp was doing and which channel he had used. He seems to genuinely dig the new amp (which sounds fabulous). After he finished his set, he took questions from the audience ranging from practicing techniques to how to strike his signature harmonic to (my personal favorite) "where the hell did you get that hat?" LOL.

I have to agree with what everyone else seems to say....Joe is a genuinely nice man who was more than happy to shake your hand, sign a few items, answer a question and even pose for a picture. He's a true gentleman. Thanks for a great evening Joe!

Joe played an awesome show starting with Satch Boogie and Flying in blue dream. He played for about an hour and included some of his new stuff (very cool.) Then he gave a clinic style talk, discussing the new amp and taking questions, then an autograph session. The only thing I would have changed would to have had the band there, but the venue was not big enough to hold the band so Joe played to backing tracks, which apparently has its downside as the cd skipped a few times but Joe didn't miss a beat.
