Wow! This was Satch at his finest. Joe came ready to play and he did so for two and a half hours. Of course, he needed a break for fifteen minutes to grab some vodka. Songs that truly stood out were Down, Down, Down and A Train of Angels. The hand painted "Snake" is something special. And what an encore, with three songs which included Rubina.

joe really is amazing. After Vie's set his melodic music songs really were a breath of fresh air. His musical talent is rare in rock even instrumental rock. His blinding speed and agility is used artfully always placed within a well crafted song in stragegic places to enhance the song not distract or dominate. His heavy reliance on the guitar as opposed to other instruments gives him a wonder beat as well that can only be dubed the satch groove. I love it! i thoroughly enjoyed Petrucci as well. This concert only gets an 8 because it cannot compare to seeing a full night a Satriani alone like last time i saw him.

Amazing show Joe, I was thrilled to see you live for the first time ever...and you put on a helluva great performance. It was great to meet you after the show, i thought it was awesome that you still put time into giving autographs and taking pictures at like 1 in the morning after the show for the fans who waited to see ya. Can't wait to see you at G3!

I thought it was an excellent concert, the best one of music quality I ever saw. I thought he should have played Rubina's Blue Sky Happiness and or Tears In The Rain. However he said at the show that he usually plays some acoustic stuff but he wasn't gonna do that tonight. so I was like Damn oh well. but other than that the only way it would've been better is if it had been longer.

A spectacular performance. Joe was terrific and Stu's solo session was as amazing a feat of musicianship as I've seen. The concert was two nice, long sets with a fifteen minute break in between. My only complaint would be that I didn't get to hear some of my favorites; _Hordes of Locusts_, _Love Thing_, _Engines of Creation_, to name a few. If not for my own personal bias towards those tunes, the show could probably be called perfect. The crowd really enjoyed themselves. I'll never forget the older fan in the business suit that walked right up towards the stage and started playing air guitar in front of one of the bouncers. That was hilarious. I thought the musclebound fella might fall over laughing. And darnit! If I'd have known that signed guitar was going to be auctioned off I would have brought my check book with me! Thanks, Joe. And get back to Phoenix soon, please?

I have been to 25 concerts in my life span, and never in my sad life have I seen a better live show. Joe has the most amazing stage presence I have ever seen in a performer. Every time Joe comes back he can be sure I will be there.

I have seen Michael Schenker, Vinnie Moore, Gary Hoey and Dream Theatre this year at this theatre-in-the-round, and Joe's show stands above them all...easily. John Petrucci is scary for sure! Schenker still rips with no tapping or whammy bar! Gary is more fun than a day at Disneyland with his wacky song interpretations! JOE SATRIANI is the headliner. Songs, presentation, musicianship, enthusiasm and a killer band to put it all together. A friendly, humble human being to boot, signing autographs, taking pictures, shaking hands and smiling after the show.

Joe, you inspire us all.

The crowd was very responsive to Joe's playing. The sound was amazing and the Stu Hamm bass solo was extemely entertaining. After all was said and done the crowd seemed very satisfied yet still craved a little more.Thank you Mr.Satriani for sharing your amazing talent and gift with your "friends" in Phoenix!

This was the 5th time that I have had the pleasure to watch Joe live. He is by far the most talented musician that I have ever heard. You really have to see him live to appreciate him fully. He really makes the Gods come out!! Thanks for all the hard work Joe and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

Incredible! The most entertainment value I have ever gotten for a 25$ ticket. Not to mention the the level at which these guys play. I brought my 9 year old daughter, it was her first concert and I wanted it to be appropriate. She loved it and she knew lots of the songs from hearing them with me in the car.

The celebrity is also a great venue, small and personal. The guys in the band seem to really care about the fans also, the show lasted about 3 hours with a short break in the middle. I always liked Joe's music, but now I have to collect all his records :-)

Thanks Joe!

Wow, what an awesome show. IT's one thing to listen to the records, but it's another to see him live. Holy $%&*. The rotating stage was a little wierd, missed seeing Joe and Eric doing the Borg Sex call and answer thing, but hey, it was very cool. Great set, Stu was awesome, Jeff was awesome, and Eric was awesome. Joe is always awesome, that's always implied. It was cool to see them pull off alot of the new stuff live, given how digital it is. Deffinitely catch this show when it comes by you. And afterwards, signing autographs, Joe is so down to Earth. It was really cool meeting all the guys. That was sooo cool. Anyway, I've written enough. JOE ROCKS, ALWAYS!!!

THAT WAS THE BEST FUCKING CONCERTY THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! STU HAMM WAS HIS USUAL AWESOME SELF. JEFF CAMPITELLI CONTINUES TO PROVE THAT HE IS ONE KICK-ASS DRUMMER. ERIC WAS SURPRISINGLY GOOD. HE MORE THAN STOOD HIS OWN DOING TRADE-OFFS WITH SATCH DURING BORG SEX. OF COURSE, SATCH ONCE AGAIN PROVED THAT HE HAS NO EQUAL. THE WHOLD BAND REALLY SEEMED TO ENJOY WHAT THEY WERE DOING. HAVING THEM PLAY ON A REVOLVING STAGE BROUGHT A NEW PERSPECTIVE TO THE SHOW. TO ME, THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SHOW WAS "CIRCLES", AND THE GNARLY VERSION OF "CRYSTAL PLANET". ALL OF THE NEW SONGS SOUNDED BETTER LIVE THAN ON THE DISC. THE SATCH BAND CONTINUES TO GET BETTER EVERY TIME I SEE THEM. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT TOUR. SINCERELY, TIM TAYLOR LIFELONG SATCH FAN

P.S. STU HAMMS STAR SPANGLED BANNER AT THE D-BACKS-PADRES GAME WAS AWESOME!

What an awesome show Joe! it was great how you cut to the chase by not having any boring opening act to sit through! I love how you mixed up all your new and older songs! you even played "Rubina" from "not of this earth"! The lights on the stage bathed you in this iridescent god-like light! you cease to amaze me! and may i add that you and Stu are, as always, awesome to all the fans!!! (i'm not worthy!!) come back to phoenix SOON!! :-) ....beautiful show!

Great Show, lots and lots of songs. I Would like to hear (You're) My World, or Home next tour maybe. I really dislike the fact that I had 3rd row seats but still had to miss half the show becuase of the rotating stage, but at least I could hear it all. BTW, special thanks to Jeff and Eric for being super friendly after the show.

Holy Cow! I've been a Joe fan for about 12 years now, and this is the first chance I've had to see him live (aside from my G3 video...) I was bored at work one day and put in my dream setlist on the website, and I don't know how much of a coincidence it is, but about half the songs ended up appearing in the show, which of course I'm ecstatic about. The show was about 3 hours, not including the break, and it was gorgeous from beginning to end. The musicians played perfectly, the venue was the perfect size, the sound quality and volume were perfect, and the song selection was near-perfect. You can guess where I'm going with this... In these days of $50 concert tickets, Joe puts on one of the better shows on the planet for $25. Many artists I'm happy to say I've seen once, but I know I will be jumping at the next opportunity to see Joe Satriani!

Man it was an awesome show! Way better than the Crystal Planet one I saw at the Aerial Theater in Houston: better Sound levels, better mixing, and better seats...like 6 feet away from Joe when he is putting the pedals to the metal...lol.. Was really cool because I was seated right next to one of the stage cabinets (so I could both hear the music clearly and feel it..love that feeling of a speaker just pushing soundwaves onto you..lets you soak up the music...Had earprotection by the way, So I'm not deaf now..LOL) Anyways the rotating stage was a blast for me, as i'm sure it was for Joe, being "the weirdest gig" he plays at. Seems you didn't need the Dramamine after all. But motion-sickness aside (LOL), what was so unique about thew stage setup is that you get to see Jeff in action..Man his Puma sneakers are flyin fast and furious! Speaking of flyin, Jeff was so hot that one of his stick went flyin near Eric!... You also get to see Joe's footwork in action too...man what a rush! While the Stage is kinda annoying with the 3/4 of the band not really visble for half the time, it offers an un paralleld experience to this concert..particularily getting to actually get a good view of Jeff's Puma's and Stick's of Fury! And Stu's solo was awesome as ever..with nearly the whole crowd gettign into it and clapping along, egging him on! Stupendous job Stu! Eric Man..what can I say! You did an excellent job, it just wouldn't be the same without you there..and great sounding keys on AWM, AWY...Subtle sounding but great compliment to the song! Oh and don't forget to duck next time when Stu goes crazy throwing picks at you....And don't foget Mike Manning and Stu's Tech too, was cool seeing them in action...and the pit area in the audience where they were a part of the show too...was cool..unique experience as well... And of Course it was Cool to see Joe in action..."One Big Rush" was the song that hit me, though Devils Slide still brought chills to me!.."Until We Say Goodbye" and Turkey Man/Rubina Combo was outstanding for me as well...Man all the song were great! And was great getting to meet all four of yall after teh show by the buses...Thanks for teh signatures guys, I will truley remember this night! And thanks Joe for you music and the band for making it happen...that's the reason I started the guitar design joe from meeting people on this forum and rekindling an interest in design a guitar. Even though I am not a player, and never will be, I love to design/creat things and this guitar seems to be shaping up...will get eth model to you somehow whenever it's finished, which shouldn't be too much longer...hopefully before you start the European Tour...Well Thanks again guys for a great evening and I will see yall on the web again on he 19th! (Provided Apple player doesn't act up).. Sincerely, Vlistener.

That was one of the best 3 1/2 hour concerts I've seen. Many of the songs on my set list were played like Ceremony, Surfing With The Alien, Always With Me Always With You....ect. Was hoping I'd get your Autograph on the Additional Creations album but those security guards wouldn't even take it backstage to ask. Oh well....at least I got to shake your hand as you left the stage one last time. Great concert Joe. And I'll be there next time.

12 hours and counting.. 12 hours 59 minutes and counting... 12 hours 58 minutes and...Sonofafish...I gotta get ready !!! Never thought I'd feel this way...but I do... I've worked alot of shows, met alot of "Artist's" and have listened to alot of music but, have never had this kind of anticipation and execitement about a show before...I'm almost 40 years old and I feel like a 16 year-old schoolgirl (not that there's anything wrong with that) It's not really "Hero worship"... well... maybe it is...but it's more like the sense of awe a student has a for his teacher... To witness a Master of any art or discipline dwarfs and inspires... I'm not sure wether to woodshed, or chop my JS into firewood... I think I'll woodshed...gonna try and get the JS signed tonight!!! More later, Sonofa
