Joe was amazing, like always. Opened up with Satch boogie, which i had stuck in my head all day. It was awesome to see him for free, even thought i would have payed a lot. The new CD is really good. I hope to see himwith Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy in September!

Hello all and hello to Mr. Satriani!! Wonderful show and the new CD is fantastic. This in store appearance was, if you can believe it, my first Satch show ever. However, I almost didn't make it since I had a serious cold. But I stayed long enough to hear the music which spilled from Joe's flying fingers. Wow! Thanks to Joe for playing " Up In Flames," my current favorite from the new disc. Just hearing Joe playing that song at full volumne ( " these go to 11 " ) was a real treat!!

My best to you Joe. I work for the TV station who interviewed you that day at 98 Rock. I was unable to hang with my tv crew buddies. But I saw the story our station did on you and it looked awesome! Your playing is wonderful and your music brings much joy to my life. Take care and great job!!

Joe is truly the man. This was one of the coolest gigs I have ever gone to. I got to the store early and picked up "Not of This Earth" on blue vinyl, "The Satch Tapes", and "Is There Love In Space". On top of this, it was only an hour later that I was able to see my favorite guitar player setting up and soundchecking his gear only a few feet away from me. The songs were awesome and the new album is really solid. Not only was this gig free, but I also had a once in a lifetime oppurtunity to meet my guitar idol person to person and get my vinyl and new album signed. Joe is truly an inspirational person and guitarist and it was so awesome to meet him. This was the real deal and it was just a small promotional gig. I know Joe is going to continue putting out great music for many years to come and I can't wait!

Great set! And the new amp KILLS!!! I couldn't believe all the tones you were pulling out of that new amp. It was heavy, had plenty of gain and growl while being articulate at the same time. Can't wait for the new amp to hit the stores, I need to add one to my collection.

Thanks again for doing the free instore appearances. Your performance was top notch!!

Joe's performance was perfection! The venue had great acoustics and his tones were crystal clear like the studio mix. Joe's fretwork was beautiful to watch as his fingers effortlessly glided along the neck of the guitar. Along with some of his classics, Flying in a Blue Dream; Always With Me, Always With You; & Summer Song, he played a sampling of new songs, including Up in Flames. He must've played over a half hour! Everyone who had purchased his new CD that day was given a chance to meet Joe, and although the line moved slowly at first, I think everyone had the opportunity. Joe is genuine, sincere, warm, and one of the top 5 coolest people on earth. When my husband presented Joe a couple posters he created for him, Joe’s surprised expression was priceless! Thank you, Joe & Crew, Dimple Records, and Skip’s Music for hosting this memorable event!

The entire ITLIS CD rocks! These are my absolute favorites: Searching, Bamboo, Hands in the Air, Lifestyle

This is why I am a Satriani fan!!! I'd heard via the site about Joe doing a live show at Dimple and couldn't believe it!!! I was there 20 min before 6 and worked up to the front.....Joe hovering overhead after the setting up was complete......then out he came......candy apple red w/ a funky ski hat and an alien tshirt......ripping it up right out of the gate and for another 30-45......they estimated around 800+ showed.....a totally kickin' show Joe......anytime you want to hit the small venues I'll be there.....don't get me wrong I'll be at the larger venues too like Shoreline, Concord and SacValleyAmp but I prefer the smaller Fillmore or Warfield......just a different feel....better sound quality.......anyways, thanks Joe for the shot of Mojo and I'll catch you on the Deep Purple tour and the fall tour......a fan as always......Xtremeskier

Kirkwood was da bomb this year!!!!!

ps, I've gotten a bunch of great shots from Dimple Arden if you'd like them for the site.......email me back if you'd like to see a few......
