Man am I dissapointed! I went last night to Norfolk (from Richmond) for the Satch concert and it got postponed until tonight. That's ok, I can deal with that. Then I am ready to leave for the concert tonight, all excited....and it's cancelled....damn. Hopefully you will some back to our area Joe! Or else I'll have to go down to Mertyl Beach Friday! Let us know man, and keep rockin'. ~Philip~ "VaiBoy" PS: I talked to people who were at the show and they said Joe came out and signed stuff and met people.....I left before then! I got robbed! Hehe, please hook me up. Are we getting any money back?

Thanks to the Norva not being prepared a lot of serious Joe fans, including myself had to miss the show. The Norva not only messed up once, but twice. They should of just told Joe that they just were not ready and maybe he could of reacted in time to play Rouges or the Boathouse. I don't buy the story about sabatoge. That place doesn't look even ready to open. Maybe the contractors didn't meet there deadlines. I guess we will never know. It would of been really cool of The Norva to charter some "party buses" down to the Mytle Beach show. Joe please come back to Virginia before you leave the country. Hope to see you soon and maybe even get to meet you. Take care.

Sorry, I couldn't get to it sooner, anyway I just wanted to thank the band for sticking with it and hanging it out. I also would like to thank the Norva for trying all they could to open the place back up. They where real nice for giving us gas money back and parking money back. Even though the show did not go on I still got to meet you Joe and got you to sign some of my stuff, I cant thank you enough. Please come back Joe, Stu, Jeff, and Eric!

Nothing like getting excited to see one of the greatest guitar players...one that inspired me to play guitar years ago and still does.....and come to find out they canned the show due to Norva theatre no being prepared.I drove out both nights hoping to at least meet him.The crew tried to find a guitar pick for me but I was let down again.JOE PLEASE COME BACK!!! you are still my favorite guitar player and now I will just have to imagine what it would of been like.Thanx Joe for spending another night in VA.It's not your fault Joe..........See Ya ...God Bless You........

Wow! What a disappointment...thought I would see Joe Tuesday night (with a friend that drove up from Richmond) but the show was postponed until Wednesday. Then come to find out the city fire department won't issue an approval for the new venue Wednesday either. AAARRRGGGHHH!!! Now Joe is off to Orlando and I didn't get to see him at all. I hope that this gets rescheduled for sometime in the not too distant future...I was very pumped up to see him either night and got nada. It's a shame that the city wouldn't let the promoter pay for the fire department and police like they did for last Friday nights James Brown show. I can't think of anything safer than having police and fire on sight, but it seems there was a lot of political B.S. and sabotage going on...sounds fishy to me. JOE - PLEASE COME BACK TO NORFOLK SOON. Thanks, Matt

Got to meet Joe last night and he signed all our stuff including two guitars for 2 12 year olds.He was a really cool guy...Cant wait to see him play tonight! That was so cool of him to stay over and play for us despite the technical difficulties that the Norva Had. He is playing for us wednesday night and then leaving to play in Orlando! I guess that will be a tight schedule for Joe and crew. Thanks so much! I am bringing both kids tonight who are new guitar players and never seen Joe Play. Im know joe will inspire them like he has me! Thanks Joe Not only are you the best guitar player in the world but you are the coolest one too. Thanks, Cory Unfortunatly, the show was cancelled again didnt get to see Joe play.

One of the most disappointing days of my life, they cancelled the show. We drove from Richmond last night to see Joe and they turned us away. I was already to leave for tonight and they said it would not happen tonight. What can you say. I do not want to say anything bad about the Norfolk people but I feel they could have been more on top of the program. Thanks to Joe for staying over. I saw Joe at the 9:30 club a couple of years ago, the show was out of this world. Thanks to Joe and his band for their music, I could not imagine life with out it. See you next time. Stay Cool !! Jim

Thanks to technical problems with the venue, the show did not go on tonight. :-( But - and this is a testament to how cool Joe and the gang are - they decided to stay and try again tomorrow! The promoter is planning to reimburse people for the extra fuel to make a second trip, and pay parking fees for both nights. All in all, even though the situation sucked, everyone involved was going above and beyond the call to get us our Satch fix. I only hope repairs are completed and the show goes on tomorrow, since I am rapidly lasing all the bits off of my Satriani CD collection! Thanks for giving Norfolk another chance to hear and see you play, Joe. Besides a guitar god, you are a gentleman and an all around cool guy!
