Joe track on KFOG "Live From The Archives 7"
Joe has a track from his KFOG private concert on the new KFOG Live
From The Archives CD. The song is "Always With Me, Always With You"
and info can be found at http://www.kfog.com/. The CD is limited release
(35,000) copies and proceeds go towards Bay Area Food Banks. The
CDs are available in SF/BayArea Wherehouse locations and though they
say you can get it online at checkout.com, no orders appear to be being
taken currently. Maybe get a friend who lives in SF to pick one up for you :}
Also, if you haven't already seen the pics from that show, you can
check them out in the road section-- the date was May 22. Last, but not
least, KFOG has been playing tracks from the CD for the past few days
and likely will continue-- you can listen to KFOG in streaming audio
from their web site. I believe you can email them requests, so let
them know Joe's fans are out there!

California Holiday Shows w/ Internet Pre-Sales Announced
New holiday shows are announced in LA and SF at the end of December
which we should be able to do aftershow passes for since they are
standard Joe shows (as opposed to festivals). You'll notice that we're
going to do a special thing where online fans can buy their tickets a week
in advance to the general public, so get your credit cards ready :}

Some of you may have received email from a satriani fan
begging you to go look at their MP3.COM site. We want to make it clear
that anyone who abuses the site to pull email addresses to spam is not
approved by Joe or anyone in his camp. If you've received one of those
messages, let them know how upset you are with them for doing this
without asking your permission first! We allow you to share some of your
personal information (including your email address) with other fans for
you to interact with them, not so they can spam you.

Last minute note! Joe will be playing the national anthem tonight at Pac
Bell Park for the SF Giants/Mets game. If you're in town, check it out, and if
you can pick up the game on your local tv station, do so!

New special show added! The original G3 lineup in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia on Oct 20/21. There's a chance only one of these dates will
happen and I'm waiting on confirmation on the venue. Check the
road section for more info.

Mexico City, thanks for a great end of tour show! The 8,100 people in the
National Auditorium last night were the best of the tour. It was our first
time in Mexico and now we feel connected to our fans there... I would like
to thank my band and crew for making it all work so well and sound so
good. Hats off to the local crews in each of the cities we played in as
well...Joe...

...Sao Paulo was really, really great!...I played solo on the Jo Soares show,
he's like the David Letterman of Brazil...the guitarist in the
house band is a great guy and a new friend, his name is Tomati...we
had a great jam on live tv!...Rio was as beautiful as ever, the
show was great, the audience fantastic and a great group of singers
as well...we never did get to do our encore though...it seemed that
the audience had had enough as we finished Big Bad Moon and didn't
really call us back for more...so up went the house lights, then
they wanted more, but it was too late!...oh well, we'll do an extra
encore next time in Rio to set it all good and well...Curitiba
tonight, I'll let you know how it goes!..

Santiago was fantastic! 6000 amazing fans made our fist show there an event to
remember. I enjoyed meeting the fans and talking to the press, and the city was
fun to explore as well… Buenos Aires was incredible; two shows back to back,
twice the energy and two times the fun. Special thanks to Carolina for making
our stay in the city so cool. Tonight we play to 7000 fans in the great city of
Sao Paulo!…More to come…

New tour dates have been announced for South America-- check the
road section for details.
also... announcing the long-awaited winners of the setlist contest! that's

Joe's performance from Fantasy studios back on the 22nd will air
*TONIGHT* on KFOG and KBHK/UPN TV in the bay area. If you don't live
here, fear not, for the radio portion will also be available online through
KFOG's webcasting of their station. The show starts at 8pm PDT and will
re-air SATURDAY at 10PM PDT.
Photos from the show are available in the Road section in case you
haven't seen them!

there have been some changes in the european tour dates, so non-us
fans should take a look at the tour page for the latest schedule. recent
changes include a second show at shepherd's bush in the uk, a new
show in luxembourg, and a switch of the brussels show w/ zz top to a solo
show in gent.

ok, the 56k archive of the webcast has been updated and now has sound
which is much much better! also, for your broadband folks, there is also a
300k stream added into the mix as well for an amazing experience. check

ok, by now most of you have had a chance to check out the webcast, but
it's worth a quick reminder in the news that it's still there and will be until
june 19th! a new version of the 56k archive will be available sometime
tuesday and will be a much more enjoyable listen than the low-quality one
you may have heard over the past 2 days.
for those who are going to joe's european shows, some are festivals
which means joe will be playing about an hour set instead of the full 2+
in the states. such are the restrictions of festival life! take
advantage of the webcast archive in the meantime!
All of the band now have special colors to post/chat in, should they
find time in their busy lives to do so. Make them feel welcome!
As if the photos from the webcast weren't enough, I'm happy to announce
about 50 more that have been uploaded just now from a special private
show in San Francisco that happened today. It's a KFOG/KBHK special
which will air on both radio and tv sometime in late June. (We've heard
the 23rd bantered about, but will let you know for sure). Photos are
available in the tour schedule section.
