Mexico Shows on Hold
We have decided to postpone our shows in Mexico. My apologies to
our Mexican fans, and our gracious promoters and their staff that
have worked so hard setting up these shows. We will return when it
is appropriate. The new dates will be posted soon. All tickets will

Hong Kong Shows Rescheduled
The Hong Kong shows that were being scheduled for October 12 and
13, 2001 are being rescheduled for Spring 2002. We are awaiting
confirmation of revised dates from Mixed Result Entertainment in
Hong Kong and will post them as soon as they become available.

Mexico G3 date confirmed!
Tickets go on sale today or tomorrow for a bonus G3 show Sep 21 in
Mexico City at the Auditorio Nacional! There's rumors of a second
show if the first one sells out, so pick up your tickets if you
want double-shot :}

G3 Pix!
At last we've got some pics from the G3 shows starting to filter
in. Click on the tour page and then look for the (P) next to dates
to see any photos we may have from that show. Rock photographer
extroidinaire Steve Jennings took some amazing shots at the SF show
that he said he'll give me some to post so those will be coming
soon too!

Aftershow pass contest expanded!
Since reports have been that the winners have been behaving themselves
(no thrown chairs or anything), we've arranged to up the number of

Satch with Spinal Tap and on East Enders
Yup, that's right, Joe (as rumored) did join Spinal Tap on stage
for a few numbers (Break Like The Wind and a jam) at their June 10th
sold out show at the Warfield in San Francisco. Also, reports have
come in from overseas that the super-popular tv show "Eastenders"
featured a character (Nick Cotton) wearing a Crystal Planet t-shirt
on the show that aired the 7th. A good week for Joe sightings!

Joe on KSJO tomorrow!
That's right, Joe's scheduled to be on KSJO tomorrow
(Friday, May 18th) at 3:00PM! Sorry to those not in
the Bay Area who can't pick up the station. The link
on www.ksjo.com to "listen live" appears to be disabled
for legal reasons. :{
ALSO! Rumors are that Joe might be making an appearance
at the June 10th Spinal Tap show at the Warfield in San
Francisco!

Another batch of US dates have been confirmed and show up in the Tour section of the site. The new dates include Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Washington DC, Georgia, Florida and a non-US date in Toronto, Ontario.

Joe up for a Grammy, New poll question!
"Until We Say Goodbye" from Engines of Creation has been nominated for
a Grammy in the "Best Rock Instrumental Performance" category (category #19).
Joe is up against Peter Frampton, Metallica, Phish, and Kenny Wayne Shepard.
The 43rd Grammy Awards show is Feb 21 and more info is available at

Chat transcript, select songs for DVD, & 2nd Fillmore show!
Joe's second show at the Fillmore on Dec 29th has been announced and
added to the show schedule.
Also, the Fillmore shows are going to be the source of a DVD release for
the middle of 2001 and Joe once again wants your input on the set list!
Choose "Edit Setlist" from the member pulldown to
share your opinion with Joe and other fans!

Short notice! Joe plays anthem in SF 11/21!
Tuesday, November 21st - Joe will play the National Anthem at San
Francisco City Hall at the Mayor's Celebration of the SF Giants. This event
will be open to the public but space is limited! The doors open at 7pm.

Stolen Guitars!!
That's right, someone has stolen two one-of-a-kind guitars of Joe's,
known as "Rain Forest" and "Donnie F." -- both are very special to Joe and
he just wants to get them back. Please take a moment to look at the
photos so you can be his street team keeping an eye out for anyone trying
to illegally sell them out there.
